Alma Mater

HAIL LAWNDALE HIGH

Do you know that our Alma Mater was writtenby two of our faculty: Mr. Forthum, who wrote the muslc, and Mr. Terando, who wrote the words.

They spent last year's Easter vacation writing the song. All of us at Lawndale should be very proud of our original Alma Mater and the two men who wrote it. Listed below are the words to "Hail to Lawndale High". Memorize the words so you will be among the many who will be singing our school song at all school functions.

Hail Lawndale High, we praise thy lasting name.

Our trust and hope forever be to you.

Honor and victory always be our aim.

To red and white eternally be true.

Our Cardinal goal shall ever be supreme.

Darkness and gloom should never mar our view.

Judgement and reason shall help fulfill our dreams. 

Hail Lawndale High, we pledge our faith anew.
